Within this new merged organization, Lucchini Piombino will be leader for volumes and products in Italian and West European markets, while Ascometal will be a global supplier for SBQ in America, Asia, Western and Eastern Europe. Ascometal and Lucchini Piombino will be established trade names, easily recognized in our market sector. Our focus will be to respond to and meet the needs of the market rather than producing high volumes. Our goal is to be seen as world leaders in quality, technology and production. Lucchini will set the standard in terms of quality, cost efficiency, operating excellence and added value we will be considered as a ‘Leader in long products’ Working with a Total Quality system, known for quality, best practices, technologies and product development. Lucchini will work closely with customers, both direct and final users, in order to understand their needs and establish a long term mutually beneficial relationship. Simultaneously entering into strategic alliances with key customers and stakeholders, a llowing us to be competitive in both up and down market cycles.
