Semi-finished Products

Piombino mill manufactures a wide quality and dimensional range of semi-finished products; billets, blooms, continuous cast rounds, and slabs. These semi-finished products are used for rolling long and flat products from high quality and specialty steels, direct moulding and forged parts.

Thanks to its integrated cycle facilities, the Group also produces a wide range of pig iron for the production of steel and special pig iron (hematites, pearlitizing materials, sows for spheroidal), used in foundries and refining for steel production.
