Ascometal provides the Group’s material for applications in the energy, oil and gas sectors.

Alloy and non alloy specialty steels are used in many specific applications, such as drilling for mining as well as oil and gas exploration.

High chrome steels are also produced, such as AISI 410 and AISI 420, in Ascowell Corrosion, Toughness, High Toughness, High Strength, and ASCOROC® types. Their main features are fatigue and corrosion resistance with a specific microstructure and high strength.
