Ascometal, produces a wide range of specialty, alloy and plain carbon steels for the mechanical market.  Special steels such as Vitac® and Su pervitac® for improved machinability, Nitrasco®, a nitriding steel, Jomasco®, tool steels , cement steels, and high chrome stainless steels are all available for meeting customer’s specific needs.

Applications for these steels include extrusion, nitriding, mechanical machining, wind energy, agricultural machinery, public works equipment, lifting machines, pipes and railway, as well as specific pieces such as tools, screws, injection champers, moulds, camshafts, axes and gears.
